Chuck Sinclair, P.E.

Chuck leads a national team of business development professionals at Garney across the U.S. He and his team are responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with clients and key business partners; coordinating the company’s engagement with industry and professional organizations, including conferences and events; and working closely with Garney’s marketing team to develop focused initiatives for external communications, including branding, public relations, and advertising.

Chuck joined Garney in early 2023 with more than 30 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry, primarily focused on water and collaborative delivery. He has led program and project delivery teams for numerous large public and civil works projects around the country. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Clemson University and a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Chuck offers a unique perspective to our business development team from his vast experience in consulting engineering and leading many strategic initiatives. He is passionate about building lasting relationships and leveraging those relationships to advance our business and the industry. He is an active member of DBIA, AWWA, WEF, and WCDA.

Chuck is a registered Professional Engineer in Florida and is based in Sarasota, Florida. He and his wife have five adult children. As empty nesters, they spend their time together boating, traveling, exploring, and spending time with friends and neighbors. Chuck also enjoys golfing and being a handyman around the house.
