Vice President – Marine & Pipe Mid-South
As Vice President, Jeff manages Garney’s pipe operations in the Mid-South region, encompassing Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky, Tennessee, Southern Indiana, and Ohio. He also holds the responsibility for overseeing Garney’s marine projects, specializing in intakes, outfalls, and subaqueous pipeline crossings.
Jeff earned his degree in civil engineering from Vanderbilt University and has dedicated his entire career to the development of major infrastructure projects across the Southeastern United States. His adept leadership has steered some of Garney’s most intricate and exceptional projects to success. He was promoted to this position in 2023, and he operates from Garney’s Nashville office.
Within Garney, Jeff serves as an ESOP trustee, a member of the acquisition team, and on the board of Garney’s charitable foundation, the Garney Foundation for Sustainable Futures. His dedication to giving back has been proven by leading many successful charitable efforts in various countries, including expeditions to provide Guatemalan villages with water.
By holding memberships in WEF and AWWA, and being a certified DBIA Associate Design-Build Professional, Jeff stays actively engaged in the industry. Additionally, he’s authored numerous papers on subjects including collaborative delivery, large-diameter pipe installation, tunneling, pipe rehabilitation, and marine pipeline installations.
Jeff’s passions outside of work encompass family, fishing, cooking, and tending to his impressive 1,200-gallon saltwater reef aquarium.
