Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) & 401(k)

We are proud of the fact that Garney is 100% owned by our employees. Garney’s ESOP provides our employees with shares of company stock at no cost to them. The ESOP plan is a tremendous opportunity to share in the profits of the company. You are eligible to receive shares of company stock from your first day of employment.

An ESOP makes a difference. A recent study showed that ESOP participants made 7 to 14 percent more in wages and had almost three times the retirement assets as did workers in non-ESOP companies.

We also offer a 401(k) retirement plan and will match your contributions with Garney stock.

Health & Life Insurance

At Garney, we believe the health and wellness of our employee-owners and their families come first. Our programs encourage wellness and comprehensive care, helping our employee-owners and their families lead healthy lives.

We offer employee-owners access to a free High Deductible Health Plan, dental, and vision benefits. These are all available to the employee-owner and their eligible dependents with a $0 premium. In addition, we offer the option of a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) Plan with minimal weekly premiums.

Garney also provides basic life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage, and short-term and long-term disability benefits to our employee-owners at no cost.
